At the Ronald McDonald House, we have an ‘extended family’ which includes our network of guest families, volunteers, various committees and staff members. We deal with many difficult situations and it seems they never get easier. We are very saddened by the news that a former RMHCA Junior Board president, Ashley Anderson was killed in a car accident on July 16, 2016. Ashley had served the Ronald McDonald House in many capacities for several years. We were very lucky to have her as a part of our family.
“I had the privilege of getting to know Ashley as a volunteer and as a Jr. Board member since 2012. Ashley was a dedicated, hard-working volunteer that exuded kindness, a contagious bubbly personality, while at the same time being able to show empathy toward the families we served on a daily basis. She will be truly missed,” said Kathy Robson, Director of Development and Junior Board Liaison.
We will forever be grateful for the hard work Ashley put in to help spread the message and support the mission of RMHCA.
