What does it mean to be a community partner?

As a partner with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama, you’ll be joining a network of passionate individuals and organizations who are dedicated to supporting families during their medical journeys.

We offer our Community Partners several unique and fulfilling opportunities for your employees and clients to become involved. We can work with you to identify an opportunity that meets your organization’s needs and provides your group with a great experience!

From hosting family activities to pantry clean up, your employees can play a hands-on role in supporting families during some of their most difficult days. Volunteer as a group at the House or help us host one of our signature events. Your time and talents directly impact families by bringing warmth, comfort, and connection when they need it most.

Let the accounting department compete with the marketing department to see who can collect the most supplies for the House! Paper goods, pre-packaged snacks, laundry and cleaning supplies are always needed and appreciated. Toys are also collected year-round for families staying at the House, as well as for Ronald’s Workshop during the holidays.

Purchase Day of Change t-shirts for your employees to “go casual” in exchange for supporting the House. This awareness campaign reminds people to “round up” at their local McDonald’s for RMHCA. This spare change raises more than a million dollars to help keep families together.

The Rockin’ Red Shoe Run, held in April, is not just a running event–it’s a block party and celebration of our RMHCA families. Organize a run team and compete with other teams for the most funds raised to help keep families together in their time of need! We will even work with you to host a fun “corporate kickoff” event and provide support to ensure your team is a winner!
