The birth of a child is a much-anticipated event for parents and there is often a surprise or two within each story. Baby Carringtyn surprised her family by arriving 3 and a half months early!
Carringtyn, described by her mom as a super happy baby, was in the NICU for 11 months due to ongoing health issues.
Thankfully, Carringtyn was able to go home with her family at the beginning of February, just in time for Valentine’s Day!
“Even if I never meet you, I’m thankful every day for you. Thank you for sharing the love in your heart, your time, and your donations. When Carringtyn is older, I will tell her all about the House and the people who give to it!” Brittany says.
While the situation could be overwhelming at times, your support enabled Brittany to be by Carringtyn’s side through each up and down.
Brittany has been so grateful to not have to commute from Montgomery to Birmingham. Instead, she can spend her nights (198 and counting!) resting and recharging at the Ronald McDonald House between appointments and visiting Carringtyn.
She also enjoyed lunch and meeting other NICU families at the Ronald McDonald Family Room at UAB Women & Infants Center.
Carringtyn has more procedures scheduled and her family is grateful to be by her side thanks to your support of RMHC of Alabama!
