The annual Christmas Party was loved by all the children and adults staying at the  Ronald McDonald House in Birmingham, AL. Â
The evening started with a nice Christmas dinner including ham, mash potatoes, mac-n-cheese, vegetables, rolls and
many other favorite dishes. The “Sweet Shop” was a favorite spot after dinner was over!  It included cakes, lots of candy, popcorn and cotton candy.  Everyone was able to enjoy some holiday music and the children watched on as the balloon lady made all types of creatures and designs.  The highlight of the evening was when the secret service escorted Santa right up to the Ronald McDonald House!
Eyes were wide open as he approached the house and greeted all the guest as he headed to his favorite rocking chair.  He spent over an hour talking to all the boys and girls and granting one of  their Christmas wishes by giving them a special gift. The House was filled with hope, love and support throughout the evening and it was just what the doctor ordered!
A special thanks goes out to Anya and her family and friends, RMHCA Junior Board, and RMHCA Student Leadership Council for making the night such a magical experience for everyone.
