Day of Change

October 15, 2024 October 20, 2024

Celebrating McDonald’s
Crew + Customers

Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House

What is Day of Change?

October 15, 1974 is the anniversary of the first Ronald McDonald House to open in the world, which was in Philadelphia, Pa.

Every year around this date, RMHC of Alabama celebrates Day of Change to spotlight the positive impact McDonald’s crew and customers have on our mission!

Your Impact

To date in 2024, Alabama McDonald’s customers and crew have helped raise $1.1 million through Round-Up for RMHC, which covers more than 8,800 nights of comfort at the Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Room at UAB Women & Infants Center.

Thanking McDonald’s Crew…

Our team will be thanking all 178 Alabama McDonald’s locations who advocate for our guest families through Round-Up for RMHC. Each crew member works so hard every day to encourage support for our guest families and we want to show our gratitude!

… And Customers!

You deserve recognition for donating to our mission through Round-Up for RMHC!

When you Round-Up for RMHC at an Alabama McDonald’s between October 15 and October 20, 2024 save your receipt to share with us! To show our gratitude, we’ll send you one special edition Day of Change t-shirt.

T-shirts are available while supplies last. Receipts must be from an Alabama-located McDonald’s and show a date from October 15, 2024 to October 20, 2024.
