What Is Day of Change & Gratitude?
Day of Change & Gratitude is a celebration of the incredible impact made when McDonald’s crew and customers choose to Round-Up for RMHC®. Every penny adds up and provides nights of rest, meals, and support for families with children receiving medical care right here in Alabama.
In 2025 alone, Alabama McDonald’s restaurants and their guests raised more than $1 million, covering over 6,600 nights of comfort and care at the Ronald McDonald House in Birmingham and the Ronald McDonald Family Room at UAB Women and Infants Center.
This year we are showering crew and customers with gratitude for making that impact possible.
Honoring McDonald’s Crew
The heart of Day of Change & Gratitude begins with the 179 McDonald’s restaurants across Alabama.
Crew members ask customers to Round-Up for RMHC every day, helping families stay near the care their children need.
Our team will be visiting restaurants across Alabama this October to thank crew members in person. Be part of the celebration by following along on Social Media .

Here’s how to claim yours:
- Round-Up for RMHC at any Alabama McDonald’s.
- Take a photo of your receipt.
- Upload your photo below between October 15–20, 2024.
T-shirts are available while supplies last. Receipts must be from Alabama McDonald’s restaurants and dated on or before October 3, 2025.
T-shirts will be shipped out on October 10th.
