Decatur Pop Tab Party

It’s time to gather up the pop tabs you’ve been collecting and turn them in at one of our annual Pop Tab Parties!

Step 1: RSVP

Please RSVP at this link if you previously registered your group or school for Pop Tab Pandemonium, or if you have a large donation. RMHC of Alabama considers a large donation of pop tabs to be the equivalent of anything that could fill up the trunk of your car.

Step 2: Prep Your Tabs

Make sure your pop tabs are in Ziploc bags, a box or a container with a large opening. This makes the unloading process super-fast and avoids tears and spills.

Step 3: Save the Date!

Grab lunch and a giveaway

Head to the drive-thru or inside to grab lunch and a treat. Don’t forget to Round-Up for RMHC!

We will have giveaways available while supplies last as well as a small selection of pop tab t-shirts available for a donation.

Help us thank McDonald’s and the recyclers!

When you visit your local McDonald’s, please thank them for supporting RMHC of Alabama, including offering up their parking lots for our Pop Tab Parties! Local owner-operators have been important partners in growing our pop tab recycling program over the last 8 years!

If you have a relationship with or interact with our recyclers, please thank them as well! They volunteer their time to deliver and pick up the large containers that we collect your tabs into! Our local recyclers are: Capital Recycling (Montgomery), SA Recycling (Birmingham) and A&S Metals (Decatur).
