Join the Junior Board of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama on Friday, September 30th at Sidebar in Lakeview as they host the 2nd Annual Sweet Home Brews event!
This year’s event has a new spin — a Firkin Fest!! Sweet Home Brews presented by Buffalo Electric Supply will be the first firkin focused event in the Birmingham area. What is a firkin? A small barrel of beer that is dedicated to being a “true ale.” With 10 breweries on board, including Avondale Brewing Company, Singin’ River Brewing Company, Fairhope Brewing Company, Back Forty Beer Company, Yellowhammer Brewing, Cahaba Brewing Company, Straight To Ale Brewing, Druid City Brewing Company, Good People Brewing Company and Trim Tab Brewing Company, this event is sure to be a hit.
