Many of our supporters and volunteers have asked us how to support our guest families from afar during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The most immediate way to help Ronald McDonald House guest families is through a financial gift. Thanks to the recent passage of the CARES Act, every American can donate up to $300 tax-free whether or not they itemize deductions.
And there are many other ways to help the House from your couch!
>Make a planned gift — Talk to your financial advisor about making a gift through a donor advised fund or a qualified charitable distribution from an IRA. >Shop and give back — we know a lot of you are taking advantage of online shopping and curbside food services and those activities can help RMHCA!
-Amazon will donate a portion or your order total to RMHCA on your behalf through Amazon Smile. When you’re ready to check out, log in to your usual account at smile.amazon.com, choose us as your charity and finish your order! You get all the same account benefits as you do on the regular Amazon site/app.
-Ask the cashier to Round-Up for RMHC when you visit McDonald’s drive-thru. This will round your total up to the next dollar as a donation to our mission!
