In 2025, communities across Alabama showed up in a big way for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama Pop Tab Program, proving that even the smallest donations like a single pop tab can make a huge difference by helping provide the comfort, care, and support families need while their child receives medical care. We are incredibly grateful for every school, brewery, individual, and community who collected pop tabs on our behalf.

Pop Tab Parties
Over 20 schools and community groups across the state, collected pop tabs and donated them for recycling at our annual Pop Tab Parties. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama partners with SA Recycling (formerly known as Brother’s Recycling), A&S Metals and Capital Recycling to receive funds based on the going rate per pound of aluminum recycled. These funds are used to support the mission of RMHC of Alabama, which can include things like utility bills and supplies that our families need.

Battle of the Breweries
New this year, Battle of the Breweries brought together local craft breweries for a pop tab showdown. Supporters dropped off tabs at participating breweries like Monday Night Brewing, Tallulah Brewing Co., and The Casual Pint.
These partners helped turn aluminum into impact, funding nights of comfort and care for families staying at RMHCA. Congratulations Tallulah Brewing Company for collecting the most pop tabs with 120.10 pounds!
We are incredibly grateful for every school, brewery, church, office, and family who saved tabs this year. We can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish together in 2026.
