The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama (RMHCA) Junior Board raised over $9,000Â for RMHCA through the annual Sweet Home Brews: Firkin Fest.
Sixteen breweries created firkins (small batches) of brews for a tasting contest. The winner of the voter’s choice was Chandeleur Island Brewing Company, based in Gulfport, Miss.
Attendees were also invited to play in a cornhole tournament and the winners had a chance to go home with several great prizes.
